In a nutshell.

I am a person hooked on observing the world around me. The emotions and the character of those around me always fascinate me. It's a privilege to be able to capture them. I'm also a perfectionist and persistent critic (as in able to discern). Yes, we live in an imperfect world but we shouldn't stop making it better.

I first saw the magic of photography as a child while developing the b&w family photos at home with my dad. In 2006 I decided to enter again into the world of capturing moments, this time in digital format. Since then I have been making the best of my time behind the lens at events, lifestyle shoots, as well as commercial and stock projects.

My passion for still images gradually developed into an ever growing curiosity about film. I had been an avid observer of motion pictures for a long time. Now I am thankful that I have the opportunity to also create them, with the added bonus of great interactions with others who are just as passionate about recording moments of time.

Each shoot is a creative challenge which I appreciate. This is also valid for my personal projects, where I try to show my take on everyday situations, famous places, unique concepts or simply - this which is before me every day. I also try to regularly share my thoughts and experiences of all things film and photography on my blog at https://blog.petarneychev.com

I'm 32-years old and currently live in The Netherlands. I fully support the sharing of knowledge and experience, so if you're looking for a partner to discuss photography, take on a challenging project or think I could help you in any other way - get in touch with me. You will not find me on any social networking website, but I would gladly take the time to answer your phone call, stay connected via email or meet up in the area where I live (or travel through).

Let's make things better. Together.
